Multi-Device Field Monitoring Web Panel PCB

Multi-Device Field Monitoring Web Panel PCB

Customer Request 📝

Multiple field devices existed; status tracking was scattered. The customer wanted multi device field monitoring in one browser screen for alarms and state. Per-device PCs or apps slowed maintenance and increased missed alarms.

  • Per-device PC/app clutter
  • Alarms missed or noticed late
  • Browser access for technicians
  • Expectation of a shared command/data model

In short: a central web panel fed by PCBs on a common protocol. Similar remote-monitoring thinking appears in our GSM-based cold chain warehouse monitoring panel.

Our Solution 💡

Revan Technology designed device boards and the browser panel on the same command/data model. Mobile serves the field; the panel serves the office. Multi device field monitoring starts with protocol unity, then with the UI faces.

  • Device list, filters, and live status
  • Alarm queue with acknowledge flow
  • Authorized parameter and log access
  • Clear marker for disconnected devices

Technical Details ⚙️

Multi device field monitoring architecture

Hardware and PCB

Field units keep measurement, thresholds, and comms local. The panel carries only summary and commands; the safety edge stays on the board so a network drop does not remove local protection.

Alarm queue

New, pending, and closed alarms are separated. Repeating alerts are merged with debounce. Operators see a priority queue instead of a noise wall.

Communications

Wi-Fi / Ethernet / GSM options depend on the project. Session and roles stay in the browser; device identity is fixed in the protocol. See also dashboard (business)) for general panel concepts.

Results

  • Many devices became visible from the office at a glance
  • Missed-alarm risk dropped
  • Maintenance access moved to the browser
  • PCB and panel stayed end-to-end in one team

The multi device field monitoring model makes Revan Technology’s panel+board delivery concrete in the field.
