The Industrial 4G Data Logger Gateway is a 9–36 V DC DIN-rail field acquisition module. It reads analog and digital channels plus Modbus devices on RS485, then publishes MQTT/HTTP JSON over Ethernet or 4G. There is no relay output — the focus is multi-channel measurement, local SD logging and per-channel alarms. Channel names, scaling, thresholds and broker settings are edited in the onboard WebUI.
Typical jobs: warehouse or panel temperature/humidity, water-treatment and greenhouse sensor lines, meter / pressure-transmitter polling, or collecting 5–10 remote points in one box. PCB design and firmware share the same board, so a PLC + GSM modem + I/O stack is often unnecessary. The engineering line matches What We Do.
On boot the module joins the LAN on Ethernet (10/100); the WebUI opens at the device IP. Channels are sampled on a set period, scaled and written to a ring buffer. Ethernet is the preferred uplink; if it drops, 4G LTE Cat-1 (A7670E) takes over. While offline, SD logging continues; when the link returns, store-and-forward pushes the backlog. There is no “always online” claim — delay depends on the cell network and SIM plan.

| Web UI | Built-in browser WebUI |
| Mounting | DIN rail / industrial cabinet |
A 4–20 mA loop needs an external transmitter; the board does not source 24 V loop power. NTC curves are selected in the WebUI. RS485 termination and slave addresses follow the project. This unit does not replace a safety relay or e-stop chain.
Take supply from the cabinet 24 V DC rail and respect terminal polarity. Confirm AI/DI channel types in the WebUI before wiring sensors. Run Ethernet to the switch and place the SMA antenna outside a metal cabinet when possible. Fit a 4G SIM and set the APN. Keep critical safety functions on dedicated safety devices.
A DIN-rail data logger/gateway with Ethernet and 4G. It provides multi-channel analog/digital inputs, Modbus polling, SD logging and MQTT/HTTP publish — without relay control.
No. The smart relay focuses on remote power cycling and IP watchdog. This gateway focuses on multi-channel acquisition and cloud uplink. Same product-family DNA, different jobs.
Measurements continue into the SD ring buffer. After reconnect, the backlog is pushed via MQTT/HTTP. When the card fills, the oldest samples are overwritten.
v1 depends on the poll scheduler and timeout budget. A few slaves are typical in a cabinet; dense buses need a longer poll period.
WebUI (HTTP), MQTT/JSON, HTTP publish and Modbus RTU on RS485. OPC UA and BACnet are not onboard; bridge them on the server if needed.
